What is Mahjong?
Mahjong is a 19th-century Chinese tile-based game of skill, strategy, and luck, traditionally played by four people. At Club Mahj we mostly play American Mahjong.
About the Club
At Club Mahj we focus on teaching the unique individual. American Mahjong is a social and intimate game played in groups of four. So when learning such a game, it should be the instruction follow suit. Therefore, we specialize in private and small group lessons to insure that you learn every aspect of the game. We have found that due to American Mahjongs complex nature, small groups can be more personalized, comprehensive, and result in better American Mahjong players.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive lessons to our students in a small learning setting to insure they gain the knowledge they need to confidently play the beloved game of American Mahjong for years to come.
